- A project has files and a conversation. Open either without losing the other.
- Mac controls feel familiar
- Use native window menus and keyboard shortcuts around the shared workspace.
- One workspace across devices
- The Mac app and web app use the same team files, permissions and conversations. Internet access is required; offline sync is not available.
Install the beta
- Download the DMG, open it, and drag Smol into Applications.
- Open Smol. The Mac beta is Developer ID signed and Apple notarized.
- Choose Sign in with Chrome. Enter Smol’s six-digit code in the Chrome tab and connect your account.
Keeping it current
Smol checks for a newer beta at startup. You can also choose Smol → Check for updates. Updates download and verify in the background. When ready, choose Restart to update; your desktop session stays on this Mac.
The hosted workspace updates automatically. Older betas need one manual replacement to enable automatic updates.
Apple Silicon only today. Intel Mac, Windows and Linux builds are not available yet.
